It's been a while since I've used MS Paint and that's where it all started. Inanimate Insanity kept me going for 5+ years, though my love has waned, it holds a special place in my heart. I just happened upon it through THE INTERNET and this niche series captured me. I'm sure I've made some very bad art that will never see the light of day but I'm glad I made it. I might come back to it but Hetalia and NSR caught me by the throat. Maybe in like 2 months.

As a tribute to Inanimate Insanity’s 10th anniversary, I’ve compiled all of my II 80′s remixes into a short album (or an EP), which also includes two new remixes (the theme song and Just Like Me).

K, so imma rant about Kagepro and how it influenced me under the cut

So I ended up getting into Kagepro because of JubyPhonic's cover of Outer Science. Bright start. I didn't fully understand what was going on but it enamored me, so I ended up watching all the other covers. Ayano's Theory of Happiness made me cry even if I didn't understand it. Hell, most of it, I didn't understand. Later on, I read some of the manga and got some picture of it. I really got into because I started meshing it with my Inanimate Insanity AU that I've had since I was at least 11/12. See, I had this thing I did with my II AU where what I was currently obsessed with would be added to that. It happened with FNaF and Homestuck, and Kagepro was next. Turns out, Kagepro ended up totaling upending it and it's still a big part of the AU. Specifically the snakes and timelines aspect of it. Oh the snakes. Side affect of adding snakes to the AU: I wanted to use real world snakes as a base for some of the eye abilities. Long story short, I found Snake Discovery, fell in love with snakes, and those animals and other reptiles are now my favorite. Back to Kagepro. So, I loved the songs and on my youtube, I created a few fan videos (it was really only AToH and Outer Science) using the songs. I'm a little embarrassed at them now since the art was kinda not great but that's part of improving. Even time loops have become a favorite fanfic trope of mine. There is so much I could talk about to how the music made me feel and love Vocaloid, to how that got me into UTAU, to even how it influenced my writing. I love this series so much and even if Reload will never come out, I will still love this all the same.
